1 good season don`t make you a world beater, decent prem player but no world cup star.

I didn't say he was a world beaterlaugh. We're talking bout 1 tournament tho. Surely you want your in-form players going into the tournament? Ppl are still selecting Carlton Cole, Heskey and Crouch (who arguably hasn't even had 1 good season), they're hardly world cup starsBig Laugh

Totally agree look at my squad people just pick the same old same old every time, this player`s not good enough he`s got no experiance, how the fuck do people think player gain experiance the squad has been the same for six years it will never change thats why we probably won`t win it

Personaly i wouldn`t take Crouch he`s not good enough at that level, yes yes his goals record, they mostly come against shit teams when he`s come on as a sub and the oppo is fading. Wouldn`t take John Terryeek either tackling your best/team mates crumpit just shows what sort of man he is, you don`t want that kind of character standing at 8yds against the Krauts, also think Dawson has earned his chance maybe in place of Rio.

England shouldn`t be playing 4-4-2 either, if they want Lamps & Gerrard in the same team and playing well they should play 4-3-3.

Robinson
Johnson Terryannoyed Dawson A. Cole
Lampard P. Nevill Gerrard
Millner Rooney J. Cole

RE: Your England World Cup Squad!
I agree that Zamora has been a revelation this season, and he probably deserves a place in the side. I think Capello already knows which players he likes so we'll see.

I just can't for the life of me figure out why he keeps insisting on using Emile Heskey. The guy has done nothing this season, yes yes yes we all know about how he's been involved in the England squads as a fringe player for so long and every manager seems to like him, but its a bit contradictory if he ends up going on the plane ahead of several others who are in both better form and have been playing more regularly.

For me, Zamora, Bent and Walcott are all ahead of Heskey in terms of form and appearances. We know that Rooney automatically goes and so probably does Defoe and Crouch, so its about selecting two or three others to make up the forwards.

One things for sure, if Rooney's not fit, we may as well kiss the finals goodbye now. I still can't see us getting past the quarter finals anyway. Sad

No of course not, because having sex with somebodies ex means he won't be able to kick a ball straight from 8 yards. Then again knowing England, we're so bad at pens I doubt Terry will get a chance to take a spotkick anyway. I take it you wouldn't have taken Maradona or Pele either. What does someone's footballing ability have to do with their character off the pitch?

my squad

keepers hart james robinson

defenders rio terry g.neville a.hole(lmao) king dawson g.johnson

midfiled carrick lampard gerrard a.johnson lennon milner huddleston scholes

attack rooney defoe crouch cole bent

id play 4 3 3 hart as been the best english keeper this year so he deserves to start, they may not have had the best of seasons but you cant look past rio and jt for centre back cole and id go for neville over johnson for right back, if you look at the last month or so nev has been class for utd plus he can defend aswell as attack johnson cannot. scholes being in the team is a long shot but id love to see him in the middle with lampard and gerrard either side of him and in attack johnson rooney and lennon and then the world cup is ours lol

Scholes retired fron international duty before Theo Walcott was born.

Lampard, Gerrard either side of him that would mean Scholes playing def/mid have you seen him tackle he`s beem sent off about 8 times.... Not good ginge not good.
