Studio 66 on Freeview

It's great to have dirty Jada back on Freeview I have been following her since the babestar days

so where are are getting those 2 extra hours from to start at 10pm.i cant see what channel they are time sharing with to get a 10pm start time. BS is still starting at 10pm & Xpanded is still starting at midnight to 7am

I've read in these pages before the suggestion that S66 'share' with ITV this or that.

Perhaps there's something in that but I think that really there's much more space available given that in my EPG I've got dozens of channels I've hidden because they're all vacant.
In the adult section if I remember rightly there's another four or five to choose from.
My belief is that the powers that be could have permitted 66 to start at any time in the past, even broadcast on Freeview all day long if they wanted to.

The reasons such things don't happen would, I suggest have at their roots a combination of factors including finance, apathy, egos and socio-demographic movements prevalent in the country.
Every time we've heard that such and such a manager has, or might have moderated the nature of a babe's show it might have been that the prospect of such an extension of the channel's airtime might have been at the back of his mind and I could understand his intention, on occasion to not rock the boat.

It's not about lack of channels. Time sharing is cheaper than buying a whole channel.

And have Ofcom changed the rules so that Adult chat is allowed before midnight ? BS have always had a dutch license but 66 use Ofcom

Application of the BCAP code
Broadcasters operating in this area should be familiar with all parts of the BCAP Code, as
well as Rules 23.2 (including 23.2.1 and 23.2.2) and 23.3.
Rules 23.2.1 continues the previous position under which adult chat services can be
advertised on encrypted adult channels.
However, Rules 23.2.2 and 23.3 now permit adult chat to be advertised (and so broadcast)
within prescribed times on free-to-air channels that are specifically licensed by Ofcom for
that purpose. For cable and satellite platforms the acceptable hours are between 9pm and
5.30am. For Digital Terrestrial Television (Freeview) the permitted hours are between
midnight and 5.30am.

Sarah Daniel kicked things off at 10:00 tonight.

On the dot at 22.00 and there she was with an audible announcement.

There followed some adjustment of the camera and some switching between a range of intrusive music but other than that it was a smooth start.

It's all happened with next to no announcement or promotion, probably few fans would be aware of the early start yet. I'd love to know what was said on the fifth floor to make this happen.

Sarah announced she was leaving S66 a few weeks ago but for some reason thankfully she stayed and now here she is primetime Saturday night on TV.

She's up against Lydia Leigh on the other side, I bet they're delighted.

Sarah did leave, did a few shows on BS, returned to 66 after 3 or 4 weeks, thankfully

Sarah Daniel started the Freeview show tonight, for the 2nd time in 3 days. It was Ella Jolie yesterday.
