You don't need freeview to complete the digital switchover. You can get the digital channels on Sky.

That's the most arrogant, condescending post I've ever read.

It doesn't matter now we've seen it - SKY viewers are welcome to it!

We don't want it now!!!!

It was stated recently that 89.2% of homes can currently get digital channels, whether by freeview, cable or satellite.

That may be true elgar, but they can't get ALL the digital channels.

"I thought 85-90% of homes had freeview now. "

Can't get it in Kettering/Wellingborough/Corby unless you get a new aerial. Too far from Sandy transmitter. It's been like that since launch and no plans in place to improve it.

Epic fail I'm afraid.

I'm not sure that it's as high as that aaron. I seem to remember Ofcom saying it was 73%, although that was about 18 months ago, so it is probably more than 73% now but maybe not as high as your figure.

I did a little investigating - it seems to be more than 77% of the population (I say 'more' because 77% can apparently get the full range of freeview channels, then there's more on top of that who have some of them).

I think you made a good estimate there, BarrieBF.

The situation will have to improve before 30 March 2011 or you'll have no terrestrial tv at all, and I can't see that happening.

It's not an epic fail if you get a new aerial.

Sadly, not on $ky. Only on freeview channel 96
Oh and you don't get to see the 2nd picture (that comes direct from Killergram's website) Tongue
That said, the live shows and also the recorded but live shows (such as Lolly and Angel last night) are very very good and way stronger than many of the other UK softcore channels.
