BSX Tech Problems (Including Black Screen)

Thanks everyone. I have already tried some cheap set top boxes but they either froze or did'nt work at all. I guess I will need to buy another HDD recorder to connect to the one I own already yet more bloody expense. My old pioneer HDD recorder never had this problem

maybe get a cheap freeview set top box. I think as long as it gives out the freeview signal, it may work, would certainly be cheaper

although A) is BSX worth it? B) it would be better of BSX didn't block normal recording options!

Reading this posting just shows how far the organisers of BSX are from the real world. Most people have a job and as such have to be at work fresh and able. So spending the evening watching the shows is not on, in the past I have recorded the show and watched it the following evening at a civilised time and all was well. I made my first visit to the show recently and was delighted with Dionne and Leigh but after about 25 minutes went to sleep in the knowledge I could enjoy the show in the morning, what a mistake. At the time I was cursing myself for not hitting the record button , this post explains the error of my ways, I can see no good reason why in the future BSX will get any of my money

The quality of the webstream is terrible so it's really impossible to watch the channel.

Looks like the usual great quality of service from BSX

the quality of the webstream is poor, wake up!

The quality of the webstream is poor or the video freezes, they aren't unable to solve the problem.


With all these problems It's only a waste of money

The webstream is still very bad, don't waste you money.

Very bad is putting it very midly - it is virtually unwatchable.

It rewminds me of the quality of streams in the 1990s
