Liverpool badly need new owners with plenty of cash to spare, can't see them getting a top manager with so little money to spend.

Thats around £70 million,so the new manager should be able to build around Stevie and Fernando with that...

No matter who the manager is he better play 4-3-3. I agree with gnp on Lucas he`s a good forward runner who will get in scoring positions because know one will pick him up as he`s not seen as a threat like Denilson at Arsenal who is good for 5,6 goals a season same goes for Aquilani as well.
That was the down fall of Rafa last season he`s not a shit manager just a stubborn person with no Alonso the balance had gone & needed changing like when we were in the same position & he changed from 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1 & put Babel in the team, i like Babel but i think we should try & do a swap with Hamburg for Eljero Elia who is more suited to a wide position.
If we don`t even bring anyone in i think we will still do well as long as we play 4-3-3 with a Def Mid & Gerrard & either Lucas or Aquilani, Gerrard will help out in the defensive side as will Lucas, Aquilani is good at the pass & move going forward &... well Gerrard is Gerrard, hopefully we can swap Mascherano for Alou Diarra.
I don`t get this Mascherano to Italy shit he says he`s happy to play for Liverpool but his wife isn`t happy in England as she can`t speak the language... err i can`t speak Italian but i think it may be harder to learn than English which is pretty universal.

Most Liverpool skeptics will probably disagree with this but the only miner problem may be the full backs, well show me a team that dosen`t have that issue.

I see HODGSON is now confirmed as new Liverpool manager. Obviously his appointment is all down to his ability to string together a good side on a limited budget, otherwise they would surely have gone for a younger man.

happy days, finally a manager. now its time to organise and structure the club back on track for the champions league spot. i hope this not gonna be the team for next year
