The new face of football

ITV have gone into the transfer market and made a new signing just in time for the World Cup. Adrian Chiles will become the ITV face of football and present their football programmes from now on. I have to say in my opinion Adrian Chiles will be a big improvement on Steve Rider who never seemed much of a football man to me.

I'll still only watch from the moment a game kicks off, if ITV are covering it, because of the awful Andy Townsend.

It doesn't matter if you think Chiles is a good/bad presenter because of their limited time and need to finance the program with adverts and quizzes he'll never have the opportunity to stamp his personality, or lack of, on ITV football. Think Des Lynam.

I never watch anything but the actual game these days. I can't think of a single "expert" on the telly who has anything interesting to add to the coverage.

Decent signing I think for ITV but yeah what with all the Ads it wouldn't make much of a difference. Still at half time I tend to go toilet, get something to eat and a drink so for me personally I couldn't care if Roger Moore had been signed by ITV.

I would watch if he was on it but I generally don't care for the half time chat and I work my timings around just seeing the 'team sheets' as they go out on the pitch.
