RE: This is the ENGLAND SQUAD
Not a surprise that England fans have found someone to boo already. Ahead of the last world cup it was Crouch and Hargreaves that were England hate figures, than there's been vicious booing of Lampard, Bentley, Ashley Cole, Dyer, further back Batty, Phil Neville and I saw an article recently about John Barnes and Chris Waddle complaining about how they got booed playing for England. I think Carragher will know that part of being an England player is being booed by your own supporters, but Heskey will probably get even more boos anyway than Carragher.

RE: This is the ENGLAND SQUAD
I'd hate to say it, but i'd rather have Micah Richards in there as a back up. He can play at right back and centre back. There should be a pride when playing for your country.
If no1's happy with that then take Wes Brown, if ur still not happy with that then pick Phil Jagielka, he can play as a midfielder and centre back.

If ur desperate for a emergency full back, u've always got james milner. And allowing Carragher back also sends the wrong message to other players wanting to play for England. He's misses all the qualifiers, does nothing to earn his place in the squad, has a below par season at club level and still makes the England squad?
Have we really reached that desperation stage?

the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist

RE: This is the ENGLAND SQUAD
Every fuckin England manager is always the same, Capelllo came in sayin he`s made things better... Player`s now all wear the same clothes, no one leaves the dinner table till Frank`s finished, no mobiles, & supposedly players are only picked if they are fit to play??
The guy thinks all this shit is gonna make them play betterbladewave this is the problem with foreign managers they don`t understand the mentality of the English footballer, as soon as they step on the pitch clothes, dinner table manners & mobile rules don`t mean shit, when the slightest pressure is applied they turn in to a pit of nerves & lose all sense of comunication.
This is why i don`t understand why we are taking Wright-Phillips, Lennon & Walcott they all play the same position a position that will be filled by either J.Cole or Millner. we need players who will be calm under pressure. Prior to the squad people were suggesting all manner of players personaly some of those players i think should be there for this reason not only had good seasons but have been performing consistently for 2 or 3 seasons, P. Neville/Barry, D.Murphy/Carrick, P. Robinson/Hart.

As for 3-5-2 don¬t get me started on that shit when is he gonna learn the way most of these players are used to playin is 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 but with a 4-3-3 style of play 38.9% of fans want us to play 4-3-3.
As for Becks goin.... 2018 PR 2018 PR yeah yeah it may help but don`t you think players who are fit and not there are gonna think whoa hang on a minute, remember McClaren puttin Terry & Hargreaves in a squad when they wrere injured because... they wanted to be here... Knock knock "who`s there", "It`s me Sherlock i`ve just come to say no shit".
I don`t think he has aspirations to go in to coaching, woulnd`t we be better takin someone who will be of better use ie Shearer, Tony adams or Paul Ince??

P.S. sorry about the 10 page rant (this is why i`m not on Twitter) but fuck man this shit angers meannoyed

Bottom line is we had a fantastic qualifying campaign and (rightly or wrongly) are 3rd favourites to win the World Cup as a result of that

Capello has done a good job and knows what he's doing...

I didn`t mean he doesn`t know what he`s doing i just don`t see the point in taking half a squad full of the same kind of players like all the little flimsy one dimentional right wingers, we could do with some players who are a bit calm and collected and can vary their positionlike Phil Neville as when he cuts the squad it`s a big possability this sort of player will be missing?

England will not win the world cup. This squad is hugely disappointing, I hope Capello has some idea of how much he's let down a lot of fans. Sad

still, at least he's made the other world cup teams happy, the likes of Brazil, Spain, Holland and Italy will be licking their lips in prospect of playing us. Hold on to your hats guys, this world cup is going to be painful... SadSad eek

JAMIE CARRAGHER: NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER

August 2008, extracts taken from Carra: My Autobiography:

• "I was never in love with playing for England in the first place."
• "Sitting on the England coach as it prepared to drive us away from the World Cup in Germany, I received a text message. 'Fcuk it! It's only England'. I'd just missed a penalty in the quarter-final shoot-out against Portugal. Representing your country is the ultimate honour, especially in the World Cup. Not to me."
• "I would rather miss for England than LFC."
• "I wasn't giving up my football career or my ambitions. Only England."
• "The Liver Bird mauled the Three Lions in the fight for my loyalties."
• "Whenever I returned home from disappointing England experiences, one unshakeable, overriding thought pushed itself to the forefront of my mind, no matter how much the rest of the nation mourned. 'At least it wasn't Liverpool,' I'd repeat to myself, over and over."

11 May 2010, upon being named in provisional World Cup squad:

• "I'm not getting any younger, we have no [Big Cup] football next season."

This is exactly why I've always said professional Footballers should never do an Autobiography until after they've retired from playing. It causes too much trouble and plays into the media's hands...

I'm here to help - if my help's not appreciated then lotsa luck, gentlemen.
