Will England win the World Cup?

What do you think, will England win the world cup?

Don't think so roger...I think Spain or Ivory Coast.

My opinion is.
If it's an African team it'll be Ghana or Ivory Coast.
If it's an European team it'll be Spain or Portugal
If it's a South American team it'll be Argentina
If it's any1 outside those continents i'l eat my socks lol.

I'l leave u with one lasting daunting fact.... No European team has won the world cup when it's been hosted outside Europe.

No...quarter-finals. Assuming we avoid Germany in the last 16.

This time, though, it will be European conditions.

Speaking as a Scot I think England will do well but the will NOT win. Possibly the Germans, Argentines or Brazilians will win it.

Too many people are thinking about teams in this world cup on previous team/player reputations, Portugal & Argentina aren`t that great even with Ronaldo & Messi, the Argies don`t have the Barca style so Messi will not be as individuallly effective plus Cambiasso is a massive loss. USA, Mexico & Holland will all do well.

No. Boils down to one simple fact. We're just not good enough. As much as it pains me to say it.

Quarter finals at best for England I'm afraid, no better. It hurts me to say it but as I've said several times, we're still not good enough. If you had to pick a 23 man squad featuring players from every country, England would only have one guaranteed player - Wayne Rooney. Maybe Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole would be contenders too, but two or three world class players are not good enough to win the finals.

If its a European team winning I think it will come from Spain or Holland. Those two plus the usual latin American heavyweights Brazil and Argentina are all better than England. I'm going for Spain, they've got devestating firepower.

My outside bet would also be on an African country, maybe Ivory Coast or Cameroon. The first African World Cup Finals sets the stage for an African country to shine.
