US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations)

I am a Marvel Superheroes fan so no big loss. Always thought she was a weak hero in the DC team. If she was a Marvel hero this would have been done as a feature film which may have had some appeal.

DC certainly have not done a good job on the film and TV front. They have a lot of pressure to deliver on Green Lantern as Keaton's Batman and Reeve's Superman still remain their best effort. They should watch Thor to see how to tell a story!!!

i would love to see a new batman series showing him slowly becoming the batman we all know and love and also a new flash series, i thought the one they showed in the late 90's was pretty good.

there are some series that should not be remade has the orginals are classics for example buck rogers, six millon dollar man, ateam, mash etc.

live action batman series would be cool, childhood to teens to batman. with some superheroes i felt they wont human too distant and detached from the world.

A batman series would be perfect i would do as a young bruce wayne trying find out what he wants to be, i would slowly as the years pass in season's him growing into the role his ment to become. of course by day playboy billionaire of wayne corp and by night fighting crime. throw in with him having issues with his lose of parents and the crime bosses in batman history growing in gotham and i think you would have a good series, also making it dark and gritty would help too.

Funny enough Smallville was orignallly Batman year one but got changed at the last min lol. Then two years ago there was ment to be a robin series featuring Dick Grayson but that got canned, there are rumors of either a flash series or blue beetle.

After Superman,The Flash is my next favourite from the DC camp so that would be a good idea.

i heard if green lantern does well then its gonna be the next one to be a film. they've wrote the story already.

Does anybody when the new series of Dexter and True Blood start on UK TV?

True Blood won't be on untill either the end of the year or the start of next year as it's yet to be shown in America. It will depend on what FX won't to do, either they'll wait a few months before showing it or start a few weeks after it aires in America.

As for Dexter i wouldn't know as i don't watch it sorry.

Oh and CBS has cancelled The Defenders, $#*! My Dad Says and Mad Love if there's anyone who watches those shows.
