Yeah but thats not fun, anti-"enjoyment" is at the heart of censorship. Organisations such as OFCOM (and their Dept masters thus far) really would prefer it if all the fun was taken out of sense and sensuality.

I can only imagine the stiffled giggling that comes from people on Lé Continent when they stumble across these debates in the UK media.

The uk is firmly becoming the laughing stock of europe.

Yeah, what Mikeboob says is true but it makes a mockery of what you can see and when.

If porn was that harmful the Government and Mediawatch would be falling over themselves to quarantine foreigners at Dover. Instead its the other way round - Europeans see Brits as giggling adolescents who head straight for the strip clubs and topless bars instead of the beach and castles as if they've never seen a woman.

And as some people have pointed out, if it reduces the number of households with uncontrolled Euro-DVDs lying around and subscriptions to Euro-satellite channels that broadcast banned material during the day that can only improve child protection.

Hang on a minute. Providing adequate protection, esp. to CHILDREN under 18, from illegal stuff on TV is OFCOM's MAIN JOB isn't it?

Not arguing with you IanG, but that's not the place to have a wide ranging dinscussion. The suggestion is narrowly focussed on one point - allowing R18 on TV and I have tried to pre-empt reservations of people who want R18 themselves but say "but what about kids?"

"Provided there are clear warnings given at the start of any R18 material there should be no reason why it shouldn't go ahead.

It's insane that on late night phone chat shows girls can't swear on microphones but can to their heart's content on the phones while those that don't phone in have to listen to keyboard demo music.

Nudity is also pointless if the girl can't move. Relaxation of any restrictions would be far better. To say that such shows should be restricted as to when they start on Freeview as they can be accidentally viewed by minors is also completely stupid as there are no such restrictions on Sky.

We, as adults, should be given the right to see what we please when we please and to make our own minds up as to what we can or can't see.

In this technological age, minors will always find ways of seeing adult material anyway. Concentrate on making it harder for them and leave the adults alone!"

Not bad!?

If the girls could swear, move and do what comes naturally it might be argued that there was context, making stronger material acceptable under the Broadcasting Code. Ironic eh? Instead Ofcon's rules reinforce the porn stereotype of hot babes with a limited repetoire of erotic poses who don't do annoying things like talk.

im not being funny but one of the reasons i prefer dayshows is coz the night shows well

here goes,i may aswel say it right

after 9 its all like yee haaa kinda get the top off stuff and the ladies who take off their panties cant really do anything accept cover their pussy with thier hand anyway lol
some of the girls are real sexy when they do that
i know we wont ever get to see what emma butt did but ya know
if the girls could go akimbo like massageing thyere clit and and gently rubbing theyre sweet little pussy with no penetration i wouldnt mind at all,it would save the girl feeling embarrassed and it would be just more fun i think,i know the main thing is about seeing penetration
i remember a sweet thing called lamara, she would slip a finger in for ya
i never actually called but i do remember seeing her doing it
only quick but it was still nice, honestly,id love tit slips all day when some sweet arse pussy rubbing so we could see her wet little pussy
and im sure it must be frustrating when a girl is getting turned on by whoever she is talking to and cant like totally go nuts and rub it like Surprised please see if it would be ok for rubbin and that where they dont have to hide coz i understand if they dont want us seeing them inserting stuff although it would be awsome if we could see that.but i`d well settle for just some wet pussy clit rubbin where we can see her doin herself Tongue Surprised Heart

There we see all the valid reasons why R18 should be allowed!

All you need is a BBFC warning really. Anything else is down to the taste of the viewer. With DVD recorders fast becoming the norm, many parents will even buy them for their kids. It has to be up to the manufacturers and the parents to implement any control over how much more than Disney the little scraps are taking in. Thing is, they are more tech savvy than their parents anyway and will instantly Google for ways to disable the software.

It's impossible to effectively regulate this stuff 24/7, so why try!? Half the censors probably develop a taste for it anyway, you'd have to be a bloody Vulcan not to!

The following seems to be compilation of genuine clips from ordinary broadcast material.
