Always a lottery in the Championship. Famously one of the hardest divisions in the game to get out of.

This in many ways is where the real fans of the game are, supporters who regularly are put through the mill every season, but still keep battling for a reward at the end of it. I know - my team spent enough time trying to get out of here..

I think I'd like to see Forest and Reading promoted. As for relegation, Doncaster look gonners to me, they've been punching above their weight for a while now. Can't really see Blackpool doing enough to come straight back up but can't see them getting relegated either. Although I do feel they'll struggle after losing a lot of players.

Ha you think Blackpool have lost a lot of players! We're still losing em, with a team of freebies and teenagers I'll settle for top half but it going to be a long hard season for Blues I'm afraid.

Feel for ya, we had the kind of the same thing last season, luckily we got new owners.

You've got a Hull City legend in Boaz Myhill though

At least the San Jose Earthquakes aren't in the championship, so there's no chance of their keeper putting another one past Myhill..Smile

The Championship is the longest hardest slog imaginable if the aim is to get promoted. Any team can beat any other team, every game is tough and there is no respite. I would have to make Leicester favourites bearing in mind all the signings made but after that who knows. Having players with experience of success in this division may well prove vital again.

A squad of 19 players is too feeble to mount a promotion campaign, but hopefully Portsmouth will stay out of trouble. Unfortunately our neighbours Southampton will be better than us this season.

I look forward to the Twitter banter between Hannah Martin (from Pompey) and Leah Francis (from Southampton) when your derbies take place. One article about Hannah last year mistakenly said that she was from Southampton, to which she responded "I'm not a Scummer" Big Grin

Back to the footy, and Palace have already suffered an injury blow. Our best defender Nathaniel Clyne broke a metatarsal at the weekend in the last pre-season friendly and looks like being out for six weeks Sad

Nathaniel Clyne what a talent Smile

No injury worries for Leicester with our big squad, Nugent given number 35 though weird number. Still after a striker with a bid of £6 million confirmed for Reading's Shane Long, if we don't get promotion we will be a laughing stock.

But still can see West Ham topping the league, good young players and now the signings of Nolan and Taylor is great business.

I like Portsmouth have to respect them of what they have been through, hope they do well...and I also like Hannah Wink

i'll start with my team Bristol City, i think this year they will do well as we have made some good signings and the manager has another years experience so the play offs are a possibility but i would be happy with top half, but we do need to keep Nicky Maynard

i think Leicester and West Ham will go up with Reading via the play offs

going down this season will be Palace, Doncaster & Watford

but most important of all i hope the blue few keep up their good record of getting out of a division and finally get to their level aka the conference Big Grin
