GSL League - progress reports

Shocking week for me Down to 19th - Heres Hoping for a a good october.

Congrats to the September managers of the month

I had a crap week, 39 points, but stay 6th overall. My chances of winning a prize for September went down the plughole once my captain (Chamakh) failed to score. I believe that this month's champions, AFC Scarecrow, are managed by the esteemed Mister Gummidge. Well done to all the winners.

my team blew it with 45 for the week from 1st to 5th for the month but from 2nd to 1st overall.

so i got rid of beckford for tevez and delap for routledge.

I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised by the the mighty AFC Scarecrow's rapid climb up the table this month. Chuffed to win a prize of some sort, of course. I'm usually a bit unlucky when it comes to that sort of thing. If there was a competition to find the world's worst person for winning prizes, I'd finish second in that as well.

Even better news than that, though, is that Mrs Gummidge has kindly agreed to let me redeem my prize, in spite of our strict "no naughty web chat" policy. Bit of a result all round, really.

Playing my wild card last week didn't make much of an impact - I slipped from 170th place to 172nd. Still with October upon us I am optimistic of a better month this time (hard to be worse than I was in August and September).

Im afraid I've been abit of a lucker on the forums, but i would like to thank Gsl for sponsoring the league. Hopefully i can improve on what i did last month despite joining the league late.

and finally drogba tommorrow to score a hat trick so i can stay top would be nice.

i have carroll (a new signing) this week as automatic sub 1 so if he scores its all good.
