The Tropical Hardwood That Dares To Speak Its Name

Does anyone know why the word "te*k" is changed to "cootes" whenever I preview my posts (the asterisk is "a"). I feel a right stupid muffin whenever I am referring to Dionne Mendez's nipples as being hewn from cootes. I'm fed up of using mahogany.
