On Sky+ recorded -Captain Underpants:The First Epic Movie. It is hilarious and has some genuinely laugh out loud moments, (toilet humour of course)but also some poignant ones with a message in it too. Worth taking an afternoon off or a weekend and sitting down to watch-you wont be disappointed.

The Wild Angels(1967)

An unusual effort produced and directed by Roger Corman that looks at motorcycle gang life in California and explores the attitudes towards Mexicans, orgies, rape and death at that time.Strange but with good performances from a top cast that includes Peter Fonda,Nancy Sinatra,Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd.

Detective Phil Philips is a down-on-his-luck puppet who used to work for the Los Angeles Police Department. When two puppets from an old TV show wind up dead, Phil suspects something is afoot and rejoins the LAPD as a consultant. Reunited with Connie Edwards, his former human partner, the bickering duo soon find themselves in a race against time to protect other former cast members before the killer strikes again

Iceman(2018)

A sort of neolithic version of Revenant from Felix Randau and starring Jürgen Vogel as a hunter, facing starvation, harsh weather and violence on a daily basis five thousand years ago.Despite the breathtaking cinematography, superb acting and the bold move to have the characters speak in an ancient Rhaetic tongue without using subtitles, its a tough watch due to the tonally depressive nature of the entire narrative.

Avengers: Infinity War (4K)

One of the best MCU movies to date with only the original Avengers movie and Captain America: The Winter Soldier keeping it off the top spot (IMHO etc)

Some real laugh out loud moments with Thor / Rocket / Groot and Drax's new found "invisibility" Big Laugh

9/10 for me.

Only 3 things in life are certain. Death, Taxes and lesbians will never look how they do in porn movies.

Monster(2005)

A ten minute short film shot in black and white from writer/director Jennifer Kent and starring Susan Prior, sublime as a single mum dealing with everyday stress of bringing up a young son played by Luke Ikimis-Healey.Things suddenly get worse when she has to defend the boy from his fear of a monster in his closet which manifests itself in reality.Brilliantly filmed from low angles, constantly giving the impression of a lurking menace looking on,it was remade as The Babadook in 2014.

After draining his life savings to enter a team in the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) is dealt a series of unfortunate setbacks, including losing his team to his longtime rival (Nick Kroll). Desperate to win the tournament and the cash prize, Dax stumbles upon the man, the myth, the legend UNCLE DREW (NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving) and convinces him to return to the court one more time. The two men embark on a road trip to round up Drew's old basketball squad (Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie) and prove that a group of septuagenarians can still win the big one.
Enjoyable watch 8.5/10

Scott Lang is grappling with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. Approached by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym, Lang must once again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp. The urgent mission soon leads to secret revelations from the past as the dynamic duo finds itself in an epic battle against a powerful new enemy.
Not as good as I hoped it would be but decent none the less
8/10
