Stargate - Universe.

2nd October in the USA for those who download torrents.

Stargate Atlantis was pretty good, but I got the impression that some episodes were aimed at a day time, loose women audience. Should have aimed it at an after 9pm, 15+ audience and been much grittier as the pilot episodes seemed to suggest.

The finale episodes were set up brilliantly by a CSI style episode and the last adventure should have been set over 3 episodes as it felt a bit rushed. Aside from those minor things, I miss the show already and too hope for a few movie spin offs as with SG1.

Mean't to ask, how old is Robert Carlyle?, in the trailer for S.U. he looks around 50.

I've watched all the Stargate programmes even the DVDs but the new Stargate - Universe looks crap.

They shouldn't of acted Stargate - Atlantis............

They should had put John Shepheard and Rodney as the main characters in the new one, thus providing them with a fresh platform... also Jewel Staite cos she's hot!

I just hope the Atlantis movies are as good as the SG1 ones were, I was gutted when the show got cancelled...it ended far too soon!

I can't pass judgement on SGU 'til I've watched (I've done it before, then ate my words lol), hopefully us loyal fans won't be disappointed, it's gonna be tough, but with the strong casting and the experience of the writers/directors, it should be good

I am a huge Stargate fan (watched every episode,Films and repeats more than once or twice ...lol)
Its a great concept Star Gates ,wormholes,alien worlds,Egyptian and ancient gods, human origins,etc,etc,etc.
The original Stargate SG1 was brilliant ( altho' I was devastated when they killed Janet off )
I was doubtful about Atlantis but was very pleasantly surprised and it certainly grew on me (a lot) I really miss it now.Felt it was a great sequel.
So I am happy to give Universe a chance and am looking forward to the first Episode with anticipation.

PS I also hope that Dr Keller (Jewel Staite) has some guest appearances.
I could never understand how the others couldnt see how cute she was(apart from Rodney )

Apparently they'll have an ancient communication device (like those from the Ori episodes), so once the show is in full swing we might get to see some body swap action, hopefully Rodney will be one...that guy is brilliant.

Jewel Staite needs to be on telly more...she is gorgeous
