The downturn has been a killer. However, additionally, as DB83 said, they didn't help themselves with their recruitment policy. The last 18 months in particular, the show was not a patch on what it was in years past, with a particularly poor period at the start of this year when they were without Daisy for a small period. The contingent of ladyboys had long been an important substratum of the show, but towards the end of last year for a few months, almost the entire cast of performers on the show were ladyboys (Nadia and Alice joined by Ice (later replaced by another 'Ice'), Opor & Naomi). There was also some, I'm sorry to say, hideous old granny whose name escapes me, old and slightly withered, who Amy persisted with for months and months in the middle of last year, who surely put off many viewers.

Amy is on the platform at the moment! Resurrection?

It will be interesting to see if it will be a 1 woman channel. If so, I think there will be a lot of angry girls.

Well I looked in earlier and evaluated (rightly or wrongly) that it was a 'head 'n shoulders sponsorship for essentially a webcam show.

Yet my mind went back to an earlier time when they only existed on-line.

And as I write they no longer broadcast.

Now one might bring local times in to play. Amy/Nana (Why the feck did she change ?) was, when I watched, broadcasting at 10/11 am UK which is less that 10/11 pm local. Now we have 2/3 pm UK which is slightly less than 2/3 am local. If the interest is not there then there is zilch point in broadcasting 'overnight' coupled with the potential response from those that worked those hours that it still has to be worth their while to do it.

I do not even pretend to know the commitment financial or otherwise that Amy/Nana has in this service. Yet if we only see her - even 2/3 am local - then one can make certain assumptions.

For now you can watch it for 30 mins on sky channel 908.

I'll make my self clear on my first post 922 was a TVX channel which Babaestation leased capacity from TVX to air Asian Connections so Asian Connections has not closed down you can catch it on 908 for 30 mins for now.

It seems rather 'odd' to have 30 mins in an afternoon on a ch that does not broadcast between 8 am and 10 pm according to the current $ky EPG. Glancing at the EPG for the forthcoming days does not show any repeat of this.

Yet I also notice that AC is scheduled for 30 mins at 5am.

So this smells of BS using them when it is convenient as they often did when they first took them over.

I must agree with this. I haven't been watching just recently, whereas I used to watch on a regular basis. Still I'd like the show to survive, if possible, in whatever form it can.
