Big mistake by Keys to go on talksport. Did anyone else hear it? He might've got away with a 10 or 15mins, but was on for an hour! - He just made things worse for himself the longer he spoke. Bringing up the "dark forces" schtick just puts him into Paul Burrell territory, which is never a wise move. Further mud-slinging at Karren Brady didn't help matters neither.

To me, Keys came across as a deluded self-important cock, who thinks that he and Andy Gray single handedly re-invented football in this country.

I thought the interview on Talksport was OK. I didn't see anything wrong in doing that. The 'dark forces' is pretty much a known fact anyway, because it's obvious that some person or persons at Sky have been leaking these videos out to get him and Gray into trouble. The source is internal to Sky, as nobody outside of Sky would have access to the material. And saying that he phoned Brady to apologise but she chose not to call him back isn't really mud slinging. It was just Keys giving a truthful explanation of what happened.

It may be obvious to you, but the bookies have made Jeff Stelling the favourite (4/1 at Paddy Power).

Jeff Stelling would be my choice! He brought his usual mix of wit, knowledge and affability to the table last night at St Andrews and I remember thinking that the answer was staring us in the face.

The only problem might be the workload involved regards the role he has made his own on Soccer Saturday - would he or SKY for that matter want to saturate him by providing him with BOTH of SKY's football coverage's biggest and most iconic jobs? I personally doubt it! Personally I'd love to see Graeme Souness get more of a regular analysing role, especially on Super Sunday and the big-four clashes; he's the one SKY man who's views command shutting-the-fuck-up-and-listening as he was a top, top player and has taken his tough image into analysing with him. Jamie Redknapp is but a little boy in comparison in every sense of the word.

RE: Andy Gray Sexism
Putting aside the issue of sexism am I the only one who doesn't give two hoots about Keys and Gray from a football pundit point of view.

These two along with the Sky hype machine are responsible for the sort of nonsense of a 'Double Super Sunday Mega Matches of the Century', until the next one, bollocks. This match is the most important match ever (well certainly since 1992 when football was invented), or ever has been, and if your team doesn't win you'd better off killing yourself attitude.

It's shite although I will admit that Sky's technical coverage of the games is excellent.

Same with the pundits on the BBC and ITV. Meaningless platitudes, fuck-all proper analysis, dimwittery of the first order.

This sort of crap is why your remote control has a mute button on it. I only put the sound on when the game kicks off, mute it at half time and sound on again for the second half and switch over for something more interesting at full time.

Old and grumpy.

As for the woman running the line at the Wolves - Liverpool game I suppose the Premier League found themselves an assistant referee down and simply plucked her from the crowd. Not that she'd passed any relevant exams or been constantly assessed or anything. Pair of knobheads.

Rant over.

Too true, but it did allow us to have sketches like this:

"haha ilM you sick bastard" - Rev Tsu
