It doesn't feel like 25 years, probably because every album they released since then has been a diet coke version... nearly identical but not quite as good.

I didn't even know about this thread. pre ordered Hardwired To Self Destruct,it arrived yesterday.Sounds awesome.

I think fromm whart I've heard it sounds like on this new album Metallica have pretty much gone back to what made them famous in the first place
