RE: fileserve
Over the past month or two Fileserve has been added to the IWF filter list because of questionable material being uploaded to it.
As a result, if your ISP is signed up with them
http://www.iwf.org.uk/members
..which most are, you're buggered when trying to download from the afflicted filehost and will get some variation of failed capcha/download limit exceeded/IP already downloading when trying to use a free d/l slot.
Oron has been having the same probs.
Nothing you can do until they sort it out. Well, you can get around it with proxies if you're desperate for the file but the D/L speed will be slower.

It was on the IWF filter list for a month but was removed a couple of weeks ago - since which time its been possible to download fileserve files again. There's an IWF filter checker here (which I will remove from this post soon so bookmark it if you wish). Maybe for some reason some ISPs are slower at recognising when a site is removed from the IWF filter and continue to proxy all their customers connections.
There's a thread on the JDownloader forum discussing fileserve downloading issues, with some making recommendations on details that can be added to your hosts file (page 34). Not sure if there's anything useful there or not.
Failing that a proxy can be used but as Nigma mentions, they can be slow and its often hard to find one that even works. During the month where I couldn't download from fileserve I found another way to download the files - the details of which I can't post on a public forum.
