Superstitions

This is probably gonna sound a bit weird but I always wear an extra t-shirt at a match, and if they go 1-0 down, I change tops

The 1984-85 season was the first season were me and my fellow Everton supporting mates were mobile so we decided to go to all the home and away games. After beating Liverpool in the Charity Shield, we then proceeded to lose 4-1 at home to the Spuds and 2-1 away to WBA. Subsequently, the first game we won was Chelsea at home 1-0 and I was driving so I didn't have a drink and vowed after that not have a drink on match day even though we shared the driving on a weekly basis, a real sacrifice for my football enjoyment. Anyway to cut a long story short Everton went on to win the League that year and I never drank on a match day.

A superstition that paid off.

However, two years later when wimmin got in the way and I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have been, you know what I mean, I would drink on match days and Everton still won the title that year.

So it wasn't down to my superstition in 84-85 which was disappointing. I thought I'd won us the title and at the time so did my mates.

I always use the same number entrance way to go into Molineux. There's something about going through the wrong turnstile and entrance that gives me the creeps.

I'm not pissing on your chips, Regenerated, but seriously I'd try a different entrance for the rest of this season.

Yes given the current situation my team finds themselves in... I suppose a change wouldn't hurt..

regrettably the same entrance (Steve Bull stand, turnstile 8, entrance J6) But maybe what happened happened because I broke my other routine - I didn't buy one of the cheeseburgers outside....

I didn't travel to Leicester today, just as well, but didnt drink at all

I need one now though

Leicester always win when they score more goals than the other team

Sunderland always lose when the other team turns up
