RE: Favourite `other` footy team
Blackpool - because we always used to go there on holiday when I was younger and it always seemed to be the first or second week of the season and more often than not they seemed to be at home. My other one is a bit odd - it used to be Meadowbank Thistle, later changed their name to Livingston, in Scotland. When we were at school (in Yorkshire) and being a group of teenagers we all supported different teams so we chose a scottish team that we could all support and at that time Meadowbank had just come in to the scottish leagues so we chose them and then tried to work out how we could get there. As this ties in with the other thread 'born before 1986' can you imagine a group of a dozen thirteen year olds going from south yorkshire to scotland, several times a year, unaccompanied by parents etc now, someone would ring social services - but we all lived to tell the stories.

RE: Favourite `other` footy team
I've got loads of "other" teams. Hearts in the SPL, Hartlepool, Blyth Spartans and Berwick Rangers near where I live as well as a shitload of foreign teams including but not limited to, Dumbarton (The wife's maiden name is Barton, oh the fun I've had with that one!), Sampdoria, St Ettienne, Borrussia Monchengladbach (I freakin' LOVE that name! Do you know who the least popular guy is at their home games? The one who shouts "Give me a B!":D) The Yellow Submarine-Villareal and Sporting Lisbon. I've also got a soft spot for Hull City as I once scored over a milion points managing them on CM3, shallow? Yep! and I couldn't care less. Oh, and gloriously named Deportivo Wanka.
