Superleague
New superleague season starts this Friday and being a Wigan fan as you can tell from my avatar, was wondering whether there be any other rugby league fans on here who fancy a bit of banter now and again as the season progresses.

Season ticket holder at the reigning Superleague & World Champions...the Leeds Rhinos! I would like to thank wastou's team for ruining my childhood with their decade of dominance.

RE: Superleague
Don`t mind a bit of RL, Not well up with the rules or the technical side of the game, but I do enjoy watching it. My local club is Salford City Reds.

How do you rugby league lads think they will do back in Superlegue?

The company I work for had a hospitality facility at The Willows some years ago and I went to see Salford quite a few times. Only thing was me being a Man City fan I just could not bring myself round to shouting `come on you reds` !!!

RE: Superleague
To be fair I think Salford will be bottom 4 this year however with the new stadium not to far away that should be a big boost to increasing the crowds and the young players they have in Stefan Ratchford, Richard Myler and Jordan Turner are three brilliant young players to start building a team around definitely a positive future ahead.

Eastwood hasn't been given his visa yet but I'm sure the Home Office is busy letting in foreign criminals instead. I don't know why Wigan let Mickey Higham go but I'm sure they will have a good season. There defence is top notch and they bloody love coming to Headingley and doing us over. Have you seen the new play-off rules...a total farce. Anyway, lets hope Ellery Hanley continues his legendary status and wins Dancing on Ice.

Well i'm from South Wales, and naturally i've been supporting the crusaders. But i've had a soft spot for wigan ever since i was a toddler so I have followed them most of my life. Crusaders to finish 2nd from bottom, with Salford bottom Smile

Yeah you'll have to hope that Greg Eastwood doesn't end up like Michael Crocker although he shouldn't having no criminal record and as for Bradford good luck in getting him over here and then getting him back again after his court case, obviously if he had chosen us and not Bradford I would have a whole different view on the matter. As for Higham we have a similar style player in Mclorum and in my view we wanted a different style of hooker when we interchange them like St helens have with Cunningham and Roby don't really think that will effect us as long as Smith and Lealului gel together. Definitely look forward to going to Headingley and playing you guys there always great games and personally don't mind the new play-off system.

Hopefully the crusaders can succeed and progress like Catalan have and only you and other supporters down there can make it happen, do you hear much about the crusaders down there Jungleboy is there much interest in it at the minute be interested to hear your opinion.
