Back To The Golden Age (If Only)

I remember a golden age of Babeshows. Back in the early 2000's, when Babestation was in its early days and the Sex Station concept was broadcast as a television show. Well almost.

I think a lot of the channels have become stale because of the outside threats from Ofcom and an absence of "daring" producers wishing to push the boundaries.

The concept of interactive television developed new meaning when I first noticed the babeshows. First of all it was the Adult Channel's "SXTV Live" programme, featuring such models as Hayley Finch, Angel Long and Emma Pierce. When ppv channels started becoming more expensive, the free to air early contenders such as Babestation, Sex Station and BabeWorld provided some quality viewing - all featuring many of the girls who have made their name and still star on our screens today.

You had multi screen channels featuring two or three girls on the phones and another couple of girls reading texts, taking requests etc. Without wanting to sound too corny, it kind of made you feel you were part of the show. The dayshows such as Tease Me TV and Girls At Home were worth a look too. All the channels, day and night, made you feel welcome.

I'm talking about a time when the likes of BS and then Bang Babes truly were quality. They could get away with a lot more in those times - the shows that were on were always worth tuning in for at 9pm.

Bang Babes unfortunately met its end when it challenged Ofcom and paid the price. I think many of the girls would be more daring if they were given the chance to appear without so many rules. I do also think that a lot of channels (unwittingly) have turned punters away with intrusive graphics and the removal of certain elements of what used to make the shows great to just sit and watch, even if you didn't get involved.

That was a nice trip down memory lane...

I can also recall the day's when Sexstation TV would should full nudity from 9PM onwards as that was deemed as post watershed, just watching the channels tonight is fucking depressing to see how low they have now sunk, full of unmotivated models and producers, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these channels supposed to provide wank material. Just gone midnight now and not even a bare arse in sight, it's fucking grim tonight, once the government has censored the internet too we'll have no porn whatsoever, how I fucking hate this so-called democracy that we currently live in.

I think you'll find plenty can wank off to what's currently being served up just fine. But what is it about the sight of hot, tanned babes in bikinis showing off their bare necks, shoulders, midriffs, backs, arms, hips, thighs, calves, ankles and toes hour after after that leaves you so unmoved?

I started this thread not thinking much interest would be shown, but I'm pleasantly surprised by the response it as generated. Especially from "Stan the contrary Man"(sorry Stan). But if I may I would like to air my view on this dumbing down of programmes in recent years. And somewhere in the forum Iv'e probably said this before.Not in a million years do I think it is all Ofcoms doing. If so why would Ofcom defend their decision on permitting the showing of "so called" raunchy song/dance act on X Factor? Is it because they were up against the big boys in ITV and would have had no chance of a positive result. I'd say that was the reason yes. The uproar only came because it got complaints from the public.Iv'e said this before and I will say it again, a petition is a total waste of time. There are many more worthy causes that won't get heard in parliament that are much more important than giving Scottishbloke the chance to see a selection of hairy and non-hairy pussies. The majority on this forum would not agree with me when I say that the company's are totally happy with having these shackles upon them. It is a god given excuse to carry on selling there other goods, and being able to promote them free of charge on national television. Why on earth would they want to jeopardize that by showing harder shows for free. The company's want to give the impression that they are fighting to get the programmes back to what they where, hence their backing of the petition. Unless they fight Ofcom in court, which is very unlikely, and by a fight I mean put up a proper fight with the best legal team jousting on their behalf, then I'm afraid the days of adult TV as it once was as gone forever. This reasoning does not lesson my dislike of Ofcom.

I wait with bated breath for the likely response from who else but my old mate Stan.

I seen his comments on the Pissed Off thread and lets just say they were not very complimentry to the mods, it was a very foolish thing for Stan to do and I'm sure he'd be the first to admit it but looking at this it says Stan has only been sin binned which from my understanding means a suspension, sort of like a yellow card, I hope he's not banned, Stan does go a bit far at times but deep down he's a decent forum member, just to defend him as he's currently unable to do so for himself at present

I no mate, when you look back on the channels we had in the past, and then you see what we have now, i can't help but feel so cheated, of my democratic rights, that some overpaid twats from Ofcom can dictate and tell me whats suitable for me to watch in the 21st century. Just listen i'll say it again in the 21st CENTURY, there was more sex going on in the time of the Romans, for goodness sake.

Some of the best shows were spontaneous and anarchic because they were fun and unpredictable. Everything was allowed apart from a few things on the banned list. Today many shows rely on a few approved poses. Its the opposite. Everything is banned unless it is on the safe list. Result? Dull dull dull repetitive shows. The other night I watched at 10pm, went away, turned on again at 1 or 2am and the same babes were in exactly the same poses. I forced myself to watch to see it was a recording, eventually decided it was live. Virtually identical after 3-4 hours.

Is it all Ofcoms fault? Lets just say that fear is a big inhibitor.

After Having watched the babechannels for a few years. We are now down to the final throes of their being. they have become completely insipid devoid of any sexual titillation. If the girls have any sense they could do worse than getting their arses down to Tesco or Asda and collecting a application form for a checkout post that may be going. Some may be alright until they've spent their compensation money that they'll receive for the Repetitive Strain Injuries they got by repeatedly waving the phone around, and for payouts to fix burn marks to elbows.

Joking aside, if something is not done to halt this drastic decline in our beloved adult entertainment We will sooner rather than later be deprived of something that to my knowledge as not caused a great lot of trouble to the world.

Reading many comments made within this thread the most important point has been missed standards has dramatically deteriorated over many months due to the standards of the callers & viewers who fund the babeshows YOU GET WHAT U PAY FOR!!!

Babeshows can not continue business without revenue from selling videos, pictures webites and callers so if u continue to fund dissatisfactory viewing expect nothin less, conditions of the babeshows will not change or improve if revenue is the same whether good or bad because it's all about making money lots of it.

I saw fully nude ladies in the past week of viewing the shows from RLC BABESTATION & ELITE so ofcom's name that keeps being thrown around as an easier target to blame than focusing it on the real issue and where the blame lies

I have noticed nowadays looks is more important than getting your monies worth and satisfactory adult viewing!!!
