RE: Playboy Fine
Looks like Ofcom is going all out and trying to get as much money as they can to spend on escorts and toys! I doubt Playboy will challenge this.

RE: Playboy Fine
Sorry but ofcom are full of s.... Its down to parents to monitor what there kids watch on tv. You can't put kids in front of the tv like homer simpson and think they will just grow by magic. Parents should be responsible always. If you listen to the likes of Dionne they always remind you if your not 18 don't watch or call. In the end the shows are designed to entertain adults. Ofcom are just exploiting a power they should not have imo.

RE: Playboy Fine
Ofcom subtly dropped the pretence of protecting kids about a year ago. Now they just say the shows could cause widespread offence. The rules actually state that shows must not cause widespread offence. When it comes to enforcement Ofcom extend this to the potential to cause...

A decent lawyer would have the case thrown out of court on the grounds that the idiots dont know their own rules, and wanting them to mean something isnt the same as actually meaning it. Zero complaints from the public does not constitute widespread offence.

On the other hand I saw an episode of An Idiot Abroad, the one when Carl Plonkington goes to Chiina. Live toads were fished out of a bag, banged on the head, skinned and cooked. Not graphic, but where I live that has potential to cause widespread offence and would have several adults throwing up.

Gone fishing
