I was looking forward to this because of Joss's other excellent series but I was gutted when I found out what he was doing to Amy Acker's character! How can you scar a beautiful face like that,even if it's for character development?Turning her blue in Angel was great but I'm not sure I can watch this one.Trivial I know but Amy 'made' Angel for me.Can anybody tell me or show me what her character looks like? Promo pictures seem thin on the ground for her character,which probably shows scarring a character isn't good for publicity!

she is scarred, in ep 2 we find out how, and its quite central to the plot. She's only guest starring anyway, as in she's not part of the main cast, you only see her for about 5 mins an ep so far too.

I personally think she is a much better actress than Eliza.Season 5 of Angel showed what a great actress she was and I wish she had a bigger 'vehicle' to showcase her talents now.I'm not knocking Eliza,she is astoundingly beautiful,but her characters are quite samey in TV and films.It's not her fault though that she keeps getting similar characters to play as there aren't many actresses that can do the hard as nails supermodel part around these days.I will definitely watch when it comes to TV as you can never fail to be entertained by Joss Whedon!

quick note before i watch 24 and lost.

ep 2 was much better. nice to see the guy from season 1 x files ep fire in a small role. also nice to hear 'buffy speak' in this even though whedon never wrote it. (the episode i downloaded had a higher resolution than the first for some reason and it was the same size)

not a fan of eliza duckshoot but shes doing well here. really could be a show that has legs but if fox dont cancel it i will be very surprised
