Playboy TV Chat / RLC on Freeview

I have received info that rlc have taken there channel off freeview

That is so laughably childish it's almost funny. So what if some of us have been critical ? There are plenty of people here that AREN'T critical of RLC yet apparently those people don't deserve to know what's going on. Smart thinking, as ever.

I know I was surprised to get the pm as I have posted some argumented posts myself well at leasted we know now I hope we get a new channel soon

what a pile of CRAP... so why not take it off Sky then?

Because Sky is cheaper to broadcast on, unlike the expensive freeview. Even I know that.

Are you surprised though? This is a company whose response to our complaints about the Freeview show was 'to get Sky', completely missing the point of all the additional competition that they have on that. Can't say I'll miss RLC/Playboy, and the last time I tuned in was a couple of weeks back when Ruby tweeted that she was on.

Despite the better sets and camera work of RLC (compared to BS), the domination of the channel by four girls who do nothing for me is what killed them for me. Shame, but maybe if they'd given the likes of Ruby, Kandi, Rachel, Olivia, Ella etc. a fair crack at Freeview things would've been different.

It seems like RLC/Playboy have done at J.T. - thrown all their toys out of the pram because they didn't like what we were saying. And I agree, I think to go exlcusively to Sky they have completely missed the point How I'll miss Holly Maguire in the morning. I would use the webstream, but I would be concerned about it's safety(Viruses, etc).
If someone assuered me it was safe, I would use it.

I hope we do get a new channel but I wonder if it's more than likely that they may move Masti Chat to give it a channel in their own right and I think that would be best option to Freeview operators.

It was off air again last night/this morning so it looks like it has really gone.
As a freeview viewer only, I am disappointed, since it had beter sets and OSG than Babestation, and did not have all the annoying interuptions.
The only problem seemed to be the lack of variety. It was nearly always Jennifer Jade, Dannii Harwood or Lucy Zara. A few other girls appeared occassionally, and some of the RLC girls were never on the freeview show.

It is all very Deja Vu. I can still remember tuning in to ch98 almost exactly 2 years ago and getting a black screen for a few nights. That was when Bangbabes died on freeview. There was a lack of info about what was happening then as well.

IMO RLC/Playboy is a channels dying on it's ass, in my view they have left freeview because they can't afford to pay their subs to the freeview network, other things that point to a channel in financial dire straits is the recent loss of a Sky channel, (RLC Columbia) some top girls have also jumped ship to join rival channels and others never even appeared for their début shows, so if you put together RLC recently loosing 2 channels (freeview and a Sky channel) girls jumping ship and new girls failing to appear (maybe the girls have a inkling that all not well at RLC ?), it all points imo to a channel with financial problems. History has a habit of repeating it's self and there is a history of babe channels that have tried setting up lots of Sky channels or branching out onto freeview only to fail, some like Live 99, Bangbabes, TVX (dirty talk ) etc went out of business altogether , will this eventually happen to RLC , things ain't looking good that's for sure .
