I only have "ordinary" Freeview but on IPTV channels which I know are running (eg Racing and Chinese etc) a message comes up explaining that you need an internet connection/box etc and where to get more info, but on Playboy all that comes up is the rabbit symbol that's been there for the past few weeks so I wonder if it's actually on-air?

yes its on air our place holder is due to be changed this week

works for me...4 channels on one ch181...press red...frezzes sometimes, picture quality not much worse than babestation

the only box I have is my digital TV recorder, but on my TV it say "coming soon" and there's probably about 4-5 of flooring between my TV and Pc so which wires should I buy to run a wire from my pc to TV and into which sockets on both should I plug?

The coming soon message is still shown on the place holder channel (freeview 181), but the program guide has been updated and does give details about actual programming and time of broadcasts .
According to the program guide the day shows finish at 9pm, nothing is then broadcast until 12am when the night shows like they used too the last time it was on freeview start at 12am, i should think this is because of Ofcom freeview rules not allowing adult chat babe channels to be broadcast before 12am .

yes we broadcast from 12am to 9pm each day
the place holder will be changed we are still making ajustments and white labeling more tv's to recieve us , if you see the channel you will see its really different having all 4 streams on one epg that are interactive so you can watch each stream full screen , we aim to add more interactivity in the future
also playboy tv chat is set to launch on hotbird in december !!

Exact same problem as described in your quote, so not working for me either.

I'm confused, is this coming to freeview?
