Fabio Capello Has Resigned As England Manager
Fabio Capello has resigned as England manager. As a Scotsman with the players he had at his disposal I feel overall he'll be looked upon as a failure most notably in the miserable performances they gave during the 2010 World Cup. Your thoughts Please. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16941457

Capello told Italian TV that the FA had been "absolutely" wrong in making the decision on taking the captancy off John Terry, which was taken without consulting him.

Good job that Harry Redknapp was found innocent today... What good timing

Fair play to Capello. He stood up for what he believed was right and his job was undermined by the F.A by making a decision above him.

I haven't thought a lot under his regime but I believe he can leave his post tonight with his head held high.

Capello statement from a few minutes ago: "What really hit me and forced me to take this decision was the much-vaunted Anglo-Saxon sense of justice, as they are the first to claim that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. In Terry's case, they gravely offended me and damaged my authority at the head of the England side, effectively creating a problem for the squad. I have never tolerated certain crossing of lines, so it was easy for me to spot it and take my decision to leave."

Time for Harry Redknapp to take charge!

But the team will end up with his former players.... crouch, defoe, joe cole, lampard, scotty parker, lennon, kyle walker, dawson, king, david james etc etc

Based on his accomplishments outside the national team he is the best manager to hold the position.

It's a hard one to call because even though i hate John Terry and i deteste racism i believe in innocent until proven guilty. I also believe that an administrative body should not interefere with the running of the team otherwise why hire a manager just put them on the touchline.

If i were Spurs fans i would be shitting maself you have a manager top of the list of candidates and who has a history of leaving the club at the drop of the hat when a new oppurtunity comes along

If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy

Spot on! They bowed to media pressure. Everyone is sucking the dick of David Bernstein saying he is a strong character. From where I'm sitting he is as weak as the rest. Bowing the pressure from the masses. They had no right to strip Terry of the captaincy, Capello can leave proud.

I doubt the FA will pick another foreign manager, though I do respect hiddink as a manager. I wouldnt mind seeing Alan Shearer as the manager with a decent right hand man but he doesnt have enough experience. I just hope Stuart Pearce doesnt get the job
