I'm developing a real liking for this game now. I will try and start watching a lot more. Smile

It does take a little bit of commitment to understand the game, plays, players and strategies involved with the NFL but it is a great game once you get into it. Not long to go until the draft and then the summer to wait until the Giants open the season against the Cowboys on a Wednesday night in September.

agree it does indeed take a fair bit of commitment to get into it but its worth it and if you get the opportunity to see it live then do so, ive seen it live twice, at chicago and at wembley and been the best sports games ive been too

teams actually start their preparations for next season around now with the draft and off season programms

Hello Rammyrascal, thanks for the reminder that it's tonight. I decided on the Green Bay Packers, because they are different to the other teams as they are owned by the supporters, and I thought that was good. Plus I went though all the teams looking at the kit and I liked the Green Bay colours the most. What do you think?

green bay are one of the nfl's top teams but we're now going to be deadly enemies for the nfl season as i support the green bay packers arch rivals chicago bears who play in the same divison as the packers.

chicago play at green bay a week tomorrow 13th september and its going to be on skysports early hours friday morning

I've checked the map and Green Bay is only 170 miles from Chicago, so I guess in US terms that makes it a local derby?

not really since chicago is in illinois and green bay is in wisconsin. the new york giants & new york jets is a local derby since they're from the same town and share the same stadium. it is though the most famous rivalry in american football
