I know what your saying but i think its about time we change the squad a bit, Lescott has had a great season with City and roy has chosen phil jones who is young.

It's a shame Wilshere, Smalling and Walker are injured. And Cleverly having so many injuries this season otherwise this squad would have a very different feel to it

I wouldnt be so certain about that mate... With the squad he has picked am even shocked he called joe hart up to the sqaud

Ferdinand is well past his best. He's lost the big thing he had going for him... pace. Whenever he misjudged something his speed and reflexes would make up for it. He hasn't got that cushion anymore.

That said, there isn't really many there to replace him.

I agree sort of with what your saying yes he is getting on a little but for me he should be there.... If alex is still picking him then that says something.. if alex still trust him then he still has something to offer.... And to be honest we havent got anyone much better at the minute who is young and proved him self....

Rio is lacking the pace he use to have but come on John terry is no speedo lol....

Jones for me is not trust worthy enough yes he has had a decent first season with united.... but he had a few nervous looking games as well remember....

Im hoping he will start with Lescot and Cahil in defence but not sure he will drop JT..

Yea i see what you're saying. Rio probably should have still gone. As for Terry? His game has never really been about pace. He has better judgement and the ability to get to the ball first through anticipation. Something Rio has always been iffy with but because of his pace it's gone unnoticed through most of his career.

What is this about Liverpool's right-back Martin Kelly being called up for the Norway game ?!? Would anyone in their right mind suggest Kelly has had a better season than Micah Richards ? Ridiculous call-up.

Richards could've turned down the offer given he wasn't named in the euro squad. Kelly's a brilliant prospect who's obviously gonna jump at the chance. Good luck to the lad.
