Wow what ending i can only say that i never saw any of that coming at all and it sets up season 9 perfectly. I won't spoil anything as season 8 won't be shown until sometime in July i think on the U.K Living channel. The new people that they got in really have breathed new life into show and i can't wait for season 9.

the final scene was very good. it is great to have carver back after a weak season 6 and 7. the finale was not like the action packed finales of previous ones but it suited this season.

Supernatural season 8 starts over here in UK on Wednesday 3rd of July from 10pm on Living HD.
