Ofcom don't licence or regulate BSX, BSX is licensed in Holland and is regulated by NICAM the Dutch regulator, Ofcom have officially confirmed that they don't regulate the BS Dutch licensed and regulated BS channels, Ofcom have officially stated they have no powers to ban or block them, Ofcom say they pass on any complaints to NICAM.
Ofcom have never said they had a hand in shutting down BSX, Ofcom would have had to make a official statement if they had shut down BSX
No one from BS has ever said they were shut down by Ofcom either,
one BS employee made a unofficial comment in a blog that mentioned that the "authorities" had been putting pressure on them to cease their business . This statement has never been verified as being the reason BSX went off air .

well regardless of any official or unofficial comments, I personally belivee it was a combination of the channel not doing as well as hoped, and also 'authorites' making waves, so BSX chose the opportunity to close up and regroup.

regardless of what anyone says on here, we dont know the truth, so lets leave it, and hope it works this time.

^ I think you can also add the move to Milton Keynes to that combination as well as to why it's been off so long, the infrastructure wasn't there in the new studios that allowed them to broadcast pin protected shows to start with , they had already started winding down some services broadcasting from the old studios before they actually moved to MK and just before BSX shut down .

cant wait for the live shows to resume and the constant ads for them on bs1,with the complaints about them to follow...

Thanks for the info. I've been doing some practice watching, to get ready. I painted a wall and watched it dry twice, then turned the lights out to for 10mins, then back on and painted the wall a slighty different shade of brown. add in an audio feed from the local indian takeaway, did I get it right?

At least geri wasnt on telling us to press the red button for porn all night
