Everyone has blamed offcom for the demise of the Babeshows.
I'm a firm believer that they can't be held solely to blame. Yes it was obvious they have played a large part.
However it is obvious to me that the channels now do what requires the least amount of effort and expense by their part. They don't care about the quality of their shows. They know that providing the current quality of shows they can operate at a profit and that is all they are concerned with.

The shows will overly self regulate themselves, tell tales on each other if anyone tries anything even slightly borderline. They will do anything to keep the status quo.

BSX is a perfect example of how the channels are ripping off their customers. BSX doesn't have to keep to offcoms regulations.
BSX describes it's content as, "far stronger than what you will see on TV".
So by law they have to provide content that you won't be able to see on TV.
So BS does this but only just. They try to get away with providing the tamest content they can. This way they don't have to pay their girls as much. The regular BS girls would demand far more money to do a proper hardcore show, (some would obviously refuse to do it).
BS say no you only have to put on a softcore show. This way more girls will agree to do it and for less money.

If they get a girl who doesn't mind going that bit further for no extra fee they get hauled back. "no you can't use toys on yourself, no you can't do this, no you can't do that". If you start doing these things then the customer will start expecting that in all the shows and we will have to start paying the girls more.

BSX to me sums up what is wrong with the babechannels at the moment and what is wrong with British Porn. Companies hide behind offcom and the regulations as a way of ripping off their customers.
This doesn't happen abroad, there if something is labelled hardcore then it is hardcore.

Anyway, rant over.

Bs have been slowly killing the channel off for ages. Ending the liveshows is the final nail in the coffin. I think it is a shame because last Saturdays show was the best in ages but the channel can't survive by being good for night in every twenty.

just dont know why they dont just turn it into the fourth channel have the BS girls that will show pussy ie Jada, Beth, Preeti, Leigh, Ruby,brookie and some of the Unleashed girls cut the crap about showing the so called hardcore movies . and all this 2 girl nonsense

just call it an enhancement off the main show where they show a little more

perfect idea,use 174 as a normal channel,but still use the red button to allow the girls to put on a mini 20 minute show at the end of a normal 40 minutes show then press for a little extra on the red button,for say £1 a pop...

That is the sort of show bsx should have been from the start. The whole concept of bs is interaction with live girls not recorded B/G softcore crap.

I think the truth is opposite to what you suggest. BSX does have to keep to Ofcom regulations because its broadcast partner requires it to. Remember that the last time BSX failed to keep to Ofcom regulations the channel vanished from the airwaves (about this time last year).

Rather than "get away with providing the tamest content they can", I think BSX actually shows the strongest content it can manage. Look at some of the web shows they have put on recently and you can see how strong the material is they are willing to provide. They just won't put the same level of material on TV, because they don't want to suddenly vanish again as they did the last time the pushed the boundaries.
