Not only did the BBC decline to apologise to Ferguson, they are still makng the same statements on their website to the present day and repeating the programme contents. This is what they say.

The programme asks serious new questions about Manchester United's £50,000 payment to L'attitude, where Jason Ferguson worked, for its role in the transfer of goalkeeper Massimo Taibi to Reggina, Italy, in 2000. The President of Reggina and Taibi's own agent tell the BBC they had no contact with L'attitude.

In July 2000, goalkeeper Massimo Taibi was sold to Italian club, Reggina. L'Attitude, a football agency that Jason Ferguson was employed by, made £50,000 from their role in the sale.

Reggina's president, Pasquale Foti, however, tells the BBC that he had no contact with L'Attitude. Asked if Reggina had dealt with Manchester United directly, Pasquale Foti says: "Yes. I didn't deal with anyone else apart from the player's agent - Fabio Paresi." Asked by reporter Alex Millar whether he had met Jason Ferguson, Pasquale Foti replies: "No, the only Ferguson I know is Alex Ferguson. Any others I don't know."

The programme also hears from the player's agent, Fabio Paresi, about the transfer, who says: "Jason was not involved in the deal. So the deal has been made straight between me and Reggina and Manchester United. That's it."

The programme also approached both L'attitude and Jason Ferguson, but they declined to comment.

The board of Manchester United plc have never explained what the £50,000 payment to L'attitude was for and declined to take part in the programme.

Well on a Manchester United related thread ,take a wild guess!
This year will be 23 years since Liverpool's dominance of English footballended .Which would have been unthinkable in the mid eighties. However there's another 3 years to go until they reach 26years between titles .Any idea who could have gone that long without a title ?

Liverpool will go longer then 26. I reckon they'll do a Chelsea and go half a century. Even if Utd do fall, which some are predicting when fergie calls it quits. Liverpool would still have to get by Chelsea and City, with all the money they have and Liverpool can't even get in the CL. Every season Liverpool stay out of the CL the less likely they're are to get in, because all the top players will join clubs in the CL and that will also of course affect Liverpools chances of winning the league title.

So what happens to Chelsea when Abramovich finally gets bored and fucks off?Same with Man City ,they'll realise eventually pouring hundreds of millions into something with returns of only a fraction is madness. As for Man Utd ,what happens to them when The Glaziers go tits up ?Its all possible and its only a question of time .

Once again another manager punished for telling the truth.. Can't imagine anything would be done if it was the otherway round.

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has been charged with misconduct over his comments to the media after Wednesday's FA Cup tie at Manchester United.
Allardyce said the decision to deny his side a penalty at Old Trafford, but award one to Sir Alex Ferguson's side, was down to home advantage.
Wayne Rooney missed the second-half spot-kick as the Hammers lost 1-0 in the third-round replay.
Allardyce must respond to the Football Association charge by 23 January.
West Ham were denied a penalty when the ball struck Rafael's arm, before the hosts were awarded one when Jordan Spence handled late on.
"You see it time and time again at Old Trafford," Allardyce said at full-time.
"There's no doubt about the difference between Rafael's handball and Jordan Spence's. Spence plays for West Ham and the away team, while Rafael plays for the home side at Old Trafford."

Wishful thinking that Abramovich is going anywhere. He's pumped close to a billion into Chelsea, he's not an idiot, you don't throw that amount of money at a club and then just walk away. He'll be at Chelsea for decades. I don't know about City. Glazers intend to make a profit, they'll only walk if someone comes in with a ridiculous amount of money to buy the club. The debt is going down at Utd, when that debt is cleared up Utd could pull even further ahead due to the amount of money they'll have at their disposal.

What's the point in ploughing in obscene amounts of money into something that will never make a profit ?Just wait until they reach that realization .
All these clubs will go bankrupt overnight .
Enjoy it while it lasts, 'cos nothing lasts forever.
Finally just bear in mind these club owners have no "emotional" links to their respective clubs .
Its going to happen eventually ,sooner than you think.Glasgow Rangers fans are finding this out now and their supposed to be Britain's 2nd "biggest" club .

Do you really think Abramovich doesn't know he won't make a profit with Chelsea? He'd have known that even before buying a football club. You're talking about a smart guy, a man who's a self made billionaire. If you and me can realise this don't you think he can? He bought Chelsea because he sees it as a project. Maybe a challenge to see if he can turn them into an elite club on the level Real Madrid, Barcelona etc... If you invest close to billions in a project you'll have emotion towards wanting that to work. And you can see he clearly wants Chelsea to do well.

Don't agree about Rangers being Britain's 2nd biggest club.
