I think some babe channels have done the silhouette thing before. ETV in '09 maybe, after their dayshows were deprived of nudity. Curtains aren't quite as sexy, but it's the teasing that's the important thing, I guess.

Comparing ETV day shows with BS Brasil night shows, I have a gut feeling that BSB will go the opposite way and introduce nudity gradually. It's a hope, really, but they've already made teasing into an artform. What they're getting away with is no less outrageous than bare breasts could be... Gabi appearing to lick her own nipples, Gabi kissing Ane on the cleavage or Gabi licking her phone as if it were a dildo.

But I don't know whether many Brazilians get moral or complainy about television. "I found this licking very offensive to our telecommunications system. Kids could be watching that show!" Nudity's only a matter of time, surely?

Dailymotion is probably the ideal site for BS Brasil videos at the moment - not as prudish as Youtube, and I doubt that anything the girls do on TV could get a video deleted.

Pra não dizer que não tentei, postei aqui um trecho que consegui capturar direto da TV. Ficou muito ruim, inclusive com o audio, faz muito tempo que não capturo videos, mas hoje vou dar uma verificada nos meus codecs e fazer alguns testes com mais tempo pra ver se consigo capturar pelo menos os proximos programas desse carnaval.

Não consegui achar o problema ainda, pois os outros canais estavam com a imagem perfeita.

Quem está tendo a opotunidade de acompanhar o programa nesse carnaval, concorda comigo que estes , estão sendo os melhores programas da história do BS Brasil.
Não consigo descrever a raiva que estou dessa M.... de canal terra viva, por não arrumar o problema com o streaming do portal justamente agora em que as meninas (especialmente a Gabi) estão no melhor de suas performances

I noticed that MixTV seem to run their webstream with much richer and more obvious colours - meaning things look a bit too orange to me. The stream on TV Terra Viva was much more natural looking. If things continue, I may need to re-encode these webstreams to help re-balance the colour back to more normal values.

Again split into 1 hour segments (each video is independently playable) due to size of files.

Took the opportunity (whilst I'm off work with the lurgy and knocking at death's door) to re-encode this and sort out colours a bit.
Result is a single file which to my eyes at least, looks much more natural.

TV Terra Viva webstream appears to be back up and working again.
I'm going to record both streams anyway, just in case.

What's the exact address to watch online? None of the ones on here seem to show anything for me.

The MixTV stream is half-way decent resolution at 480x360 4:3, but whatever they use to dynamically encode the TV picture to stream picture (I think they're using Procaster) is set up very poorly. The quality is low in that it's blurry, saturation/contract/hue are set incorrectly, and vbr frame rate doesn't match audio frame rate, which all means a loss of detail when watching. You can only "fix" so much of this with a re-encode as you can't magically improve that much a poor input source - the old saying of garbage in garbage out is very true with video encoding!

And sods law, the other stream of http://tvterraviva.band.uol.com.br/ whilst it was working, decided to break after about 1hour 20mins. The stream is technically better, but as resolution is lower at only 320x240 4:3, people are not as impressed. But the Osprey-440 system they use to create the stream generates a much cleaner video, better detail and definition, and corrected colours.

So please, to the powers that be running Babestation Brazil, sort out your own webstream that provides a decent resolution, using decent quality kit (either Decklink or Osprey) and settings. That way us punters will be happier. It may also entice us to call more...

Re-encoded the MixTV stream to make colours more natural and also tidy up as best I can the video quality.
Audio is mostly in sync throughout, but there were a couple of stream blips. Think I've fixed all these...
It's taken far too long to cut, edit, encode, re-sync audio, but I hope the outcome is worth it.
