Simple question. If there's "no evidence" of premeditated murder, why has he been charged with premeditated murder?

Yh but still got to find proof that it was pre-mediated, prosecutors of course would make it a pre meditated charge but still got to be proven when it's his trial.


I know it's two different things but michael jackson was charged with child molestation but they still had to prove that he was guilty in his trial which they didnt do

That's way different, there's no way it could be proven that Jackson was a molester unless taped evidance or evidance from the kids themselves.

This chap, had to get his gun, put his legs on, aim (apparently though a locked door, even though she ended up at the foot of the stairs, so it's only his word it was locked) then hit them several times including in the head, THROUGH A LOCKED DOOR. Even if he was after a intruder it wasn't self defence but muder.

I really don't understand this defence, just becasue he is trying to say he didn't intend to kill his girlfriend, he was still intent on killing someone.

It's just strange as pistorius shot someone but gets bail, that sort of thing never happens with something serious such as this, that's why I think at the end they will believe his version of events

For some reason I really wanna see pistorius moonwalk now
We've all tried it and none of us can do it (be honest), but I'm sure we can all say we did it better than pistorius!

There is no judge in this case because it hasn't been sent for trial yet. The magistrate who heard and granted the bail application was Magistrate Desmond Nair.



The police officer in charge of investigating the case is Divisional Commissioner Vineshkumar Moonoo.

OK, I stand corrected race isn't a problem in south africa and a black magistrate refusing bail to a white national hero would have no political overtones whatsoever.

Get the feeling that whatever the verdict in this case, Pistorius wont do much time if found guilty. Lots of cash so it would be appeal after appeal with poor Oscar out on bail in the arms of his loving family and hangers on. Pity he wasnt devastated enough to blow his own brains out, still, live in hope.
