Attachments are a pain in the arse

Is there any chance you can disable attachments to posts? It's a pain in the arse having to open each one individually and it doesn't take a great deal of extra effort to upload pics to an image host instead so they can be viewed at a decent size within the post instead of having to squint at tiny thumbnails.

It'd also help constrain the size of the forum database!
