The Spanish media are reporting that Diego Costa will play tonight, despite being injured last week. But if he worsens the injury it's feared that he'll put himself out of the world cup (and also jeopardise his move to Chelsea?)

So Diego Costa only lasted 9 minutes. It's one of those gambles which didn't pay off. Athletico lead 1-0 at half time though.
