World Cup 2014 - The Draw

people always say it gets very humid in this country in the summer but the fact is hot and humid weather doesn't last long enough for us to to get used to it, some days it may only be 21c or 22c here in summer but im sweating buckets cos of the humidity, the temps do make a difference as well as the strength of the sun, right now it is 6c here but the humidity is 93%, im not sweating at all though

Never realised that before!! Thanks!! can you get further info up on other premiership grounds? I'd be curious just to see how high the Emirates & old Trafford are!!

To be honest with you I lost interest in this whole subject a long time ago, all these pointless numbers and Boneheads stats.. All that you need to know is it will be humid and the teams will have to deal with it, the team who score the most will win.

All this other talk is pointless, I would not say i'm an expert on sea levels either, never taken a interest in it and never will I'm a football fan, not a scientist.

Sorry Mate I just got curious!! But I was right in saying that both teams have to deal with it the best they can, but at the end of the day you are right too, it is the team who scores the most goals wins!!
And I still think Suarez will relish the conditions as well as Costa Rica who I feel are an unknown quantity to England I don't think we have played them before now.

Of the 12 stadiums to be used in the World Cup 2014 these are the only 4 which are at a higher altitude than West Bromwich Albion.

But sadly ITV have the other games. Means we have to suffer the bland and inept pundits and the crass commentary

I see most of the 2am kick offs have been brought forward now, leaving just the one. Very nice for TV ratings. I don't think the BBC would have been over concerned about the England-Costa Rica match, as it's a 5pm kick off which isn't ideal and it's also possible that England might be knocked out by then going by the pessimism that prevailing at the moment.
