Apparently they are planning to make it a online channel only accessible through the IPlayer to cut costs

No great loss, only ever watched Dr Who confidential on it

Is BBC3 worth it's 90m budget.

I'd prefer them to cut it and not put up the TV licence

Time to scrap the licence fee altogether and make the beeb pay for itself.

I hope they do, and this isn't just another blatant PR exercise like the plans for 6music.

Basically it got culled because they couldnt get rid of Cbeebies cos Mumsnet will be up in arms BBC 4 was saved cos pensioners watch it so anything for young adults will get shafted as they are scum and they wont complain thats the establishment thinking in everything hence why the country is in the state its in

used to watch bbc3 a lot in the past but these days I don't really watch it unless there is a dr who repeat or a family guy episode I like that they are showing. perhaps bbc think that bbc 3 isn't now worth the money that they spend on it.

thought it would be bbc4 that would be going since for me it shows similar content to what is on bbc2

oh well what a shame family guy is only reason most people watch bbc 3, cant they just get rid of eastenders and the voice problem solved
