Very sad news he was a very talented actor who was great in serious and funny roles my favorites being Mona Lisa and Who framed Roger Rabbit ?

Great British character actor.

Just read this terribly sad news on the BBC website. A highly under-rated actor who appeared in one of the greatest British films of all time - 'The Long Good Friday'.

Sad news to hear. I mostly remember his performances in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mona Lisa, both excellent roles. Great character actor who had a very varied cv of many different roles.
