Was the punishment given to Luis Suarez fair?

It doesn't matter what the media say, my opinion comes from my own thoughts and nobody else's.
If a close member of your family came home and had a bite mark on their body from an unprovoked attack, you would surely be furious and want that person to seriously answer for their actions.
It's OK talking about elbows and punches etc, but for me biting carries a different more sinister ill feeling to it.
Lashing out in temper with fists in the heat of the moment is one thing, sinking your teeth into another human being carries a deeper sense of ill intent IMO.
It's almost savagery, the behaviour of a wild unhinged beast!
Playing football on such a huge platform certainly comes with a huge amount of responsibility, I would never expect to see such crazy behavior, and nor should anybody, including the millions of kids that idolise some of these players.
These are the mains reasons I believe this punishment wasn't enough.

anyway to my point, i said "Huge Thing" of course it'll make headlines, but England and Italy are the countries that are so up in arms talking about it 24/7

Just a thought, but may be Italy and England have a vested interest and are making such a fuss compared to other countries because
a) he bit an Italian
and
b) He plays in England week in, week out.

I don't condone Suarez's actions one bit and believe he should be censured, not excused for his actions by both his national and club teams but there are far more serious situations going on in the world that are more deserving of headline space.

The Luis Suárez stadium ban is so strict that FIFA say Liverpool must take their 2014/15 team picture outside Anfield if they want him in it.

I reckon at the very least the ban on training with the club and entering stadia will be revoked.

surely it has to break some sort of employment laws and I think that's why Liverpool have been so quiet on the situation as JWH will have his lawyers on the case full throttle

You're right - according to SSN anyway. They say that Suarez isn't allowed in the Liverpool team photo regardless of where it's taken.

the ban is about right i think, in the real world if someone had a nibble at me people would take the piss out of me and call me a wuss if i complained about a little bite mark, just imagine you were banned from watching the babechannels for 4 months
