Big surprise in this years competition
A 5ft 4in Italian girl has qualified for the French Open Final in both Singles and Ladies Doubles.

10th seed Sara Errani beat Australian Sam Stosur in 3 sets in this years semi final.

It could be the little and large show in the final if 6ft 3in Sharapova wins her semi.

As a long term Maria Sharapova fan I am delighted for her after winning the French Open and therefore completing the set of all four slam titles in her career. An outstanding achievement bearing in mind the injury problems she had which almost cut short her career. She has shown immense character and resolve to get back to world number one and win the one major that had previously eluded her on the surface that so many said was her weakest. A truly superb achievement from a fantastic champion .

David Nalbandian was disqualified for kicking an advertising board into a judges shin.

They should have made the advertising thingy out of concrete - that'll learn him.

The advertising board came apart very easily, a stupid thing to do though!

Apparently its now going to be investigated by the Police, after a complaint was made.
