J’ONN MEETS MANCHESTER BLACK — When Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) needs help, Alex (Chyler Leigh) asks Lena (Katie McGrath) and Brainiac (Jesse Rath) to team up. Meanwhile, J’onn (David Haredwood) questions his decision to quit the DEO. However, after running into Manchester Black (guest star David Ajala), he realizes there are a lot of ways to help his fellow aliens during this tumultuous time.

The American Alien Ep ending is setting up the adaptation of The Superman Red Son storyline from the comics but replacing Superman with Supergirl. The two Supergirl’s they took the idea from the show Smallville the Ep titled Onyx where Lex Luthor found black Krytonite and it split him in two now the black rock they had in the season 3 finale was black kryptonite.

First thing that came into my head with that ending of American Alien was the fight between Clark Kent(good superman) & bad superman that happened in Superman III. but yes it does set up the Red Son superman storyline but with supergirl instead of superman
