Supergirl

Thing with jimmy olsen is that we are used to the bumbling kid who gets into scrapes that he needs to superman to get him out of but in the supergirl time line he must be early 30's and prob a lot wiser

guessing he is because Superman was at least 24 when kara came to earth because she was stuck in time and then its gotta be at least 10 years later as she was still 13 when she landed id be saying she would be in her early to mid 20's now

if you get what i mean im guessing the supergirl timeline is at least 10-20 years ahead of the superman timeline

The thing is Jimmy Olsen wasn't always bumbling the golden and sliver age verisons of him were like that along with the movie versions of him have been like that its only been in the last 10 years or more and now with the 52 reboot where he been different.
The timeline of Kara being mean't to have arrived before kal-el has always been like that in the comics right down to the previous Supergirl in Smallville.

Thats the fault of me trying to start a discussion with a comic book bloke ive not really read comics ive mainly seen the original movies 1-3 the lois and clark tv show and about 4 or 5 seasons of smallville and thats all my superman Knowledge lol

i actaully watched Superman returns this weekend cos it was on watch really confused me what is A.T.O.M being superman

I liked Kars's very first suit i can't think why tho hehe.

in smallville kara seems to be about the same age has clark due to growing while in suspended animation. that is why she could fly has she did not grow up on earth amongst the humans.

The reason why Clark couldn't fly in Smallville and Kara could was because he didn't believe in himself even when Kara tried to teach him in season 10 where as she was more conifident and believed in herself it was explained why in season 7 and in season 10.

Supergirl will make her debut in the States on Monday 26th of October 2015 at 8.30pm on CBS, will post when it's confirmed for the UK and what channel it will be on.
