Most reviews have largely been, 'looks and sounds great but short lived and a bit meh '. The lack of a SP campaign has me Force pushing this one out of the way.

Having played the beta I can say that it looks great and plays very well. Over 8 million people played it over the beta test with no visible lag. As for being short lived? well as its a multi-player game that will be decided by how long and how many people play in the servers.

The biggest problems I have been hearing about is that it seems like there's content missing from the game so it doesn't feel complete, for me if your gonna take out the campaign mode then they should at least make up for missing content if your gonna change £40+ for a game also that the season pass is a lot of money but then that's EA for you lol.

40 pounds for the season pass EA have got to be having a laugh, they take out most of the content out of the game then have the nerve to charge you 40 pounds for the season pass which is the same price as the standard edition of the game and they do it because of the hype with Star Wars people will buy it WTF.

i dont mind if it plays like the beta did and is better than black ops 3 multiplayer that is a fucking pain in the arse keeps crashing for me on PS4

as a huge star wars fan I personally cant wait to get it tomorrow and will be playing it a lot, especially in the build up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out in just under a month.

especially looking forward to playing the online multiplayer games/levels/missions as not normally play those in the games ive got both now on xboxone and in the past on xbox360

At a guess, the reason for no campaign is Disney/Lucasfilm didn't want one. If DICE had put one in it would have potentially had too many spoilers, even though EA have stated they aren't doing tie-ins, they still have to stick by what is canon. Or if you go by the offical DICE line...

When it comes down to it, EA wants to sell you the other SW games in the future they have yet to officially announce. A single player game is coming, or multiple single player games on different platforms. So i'll wait to see what the rumoured open world game from EA Canada/Visceral Games is.

I'd say I can wait until it drops in price, BF4 got it's shit together and that's cheap these days and now has free DLC content. I can't see this dropping in price for a long time though. You've got two greedy empires at play in EA and Disney Corp.

I got some free Beta thing of Battlefront a few weeks back and it was pretty cool but I think it was just a demo thing that ran out after a bit, was on some site that gave me Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 for free only for it to not work after install (a problem a few folks were having upon googling it).

dont know why everyone down on it played a few of the missions can play solo and using AI opponants.

Picked up my pre ordered copy this morning which includes a code to access The Battle Of Jakku content a week early & I bought the season pass as even though its dear (£39.99) you do get a lot for that money

Haven't played yet as I saw the new the hunger games film after picking it up and now going to my autism centre.

Hopefully will get going on it tomorrow
