New England will be entertaining Pittsburgh, and I'm expecting that the officals will be check the pressure of the balls before the match and at half time.

Actually it's 01:30 tomorrow morning charle New England v Pittsburgh. Skysports start their coverage from midnight looking at what's gone on in the off season including of course "Deflategate". Yep the pressure of the balls will be checked as well as the pressure of the balls that will be used in the game

Obviously my game of week 1 will be Chicago v Green Bay . Which is the 1st Sunday game on sky

It does make you wonder how many other 'ploys' the patriots have carried out over the years undetected. I suppose there is a fine line between trying to get an edge and cheating. I wonder why Brady destroyed his mobile phone at the time. I suppose you have have got to give people benefit of the doubt.

Doubt we were the only one's doing anything like this IF any of it's true and isn't it an amazing coincidence this new report came out only days after we humiliated the NFL and Goodell in court , can't wait to see his face when he hands us the Lombardi trophy in Febuary .

As said before they have been caught. Not anything new in the game. The raiders cornerbacks and wide receivers used stickem which helped them catch the ball better. They use to try to put it on the ball when the opponents offence were on the field. It made it very difficult for the opposing centre to snap the ball back cleanly.
The eagles head coach in the 80s put bounty pictures of the cowboys best players up awarding 1000 bucks for each player injured.
In America it's very much just don't get caught, and as Cartmen said do what Bill Belichuck does and say 'I misinterpreted the rules'
Once you get caught you will be singled out than most teams. Why did Brady destroy his mobile phone at the time? Did he give an explanation?

He said so none of his personal info got out and he would regularly destroy his old phones , he also had proof that he contacted his service provider but they would not give him his old text transcripts to him .

That sounds plausible. I wouldn't give my mobile over either. Think it's an invasion of privacy. They should issue a work mobile phone which the NFL are entitled to demand access to on request, a la Moody and Malkay Mackay at Cardiff.

I know plenty of people who have a work mobile and a personal mobile. Since the firm pay all the bills they have have right to demand acess to their work mobile at all times.
Regardless the players tend to have to do what the NFL tells them. Anyway the players are getting a Free phone. Sportsmen never turn down freebies even if it's not in their interest to accept.
