I was just looking at the footage of the trouble, to see who was to blame, and I noticed that some of the worst offenders had Lokomotiv Moscow on their shirts. Bit of a giveaway that.

I would not be surprised if UEFA take a dim view of what has happened in Marseille for the last three days. If we get thrown out of the tournament then we need to take our own action against those involved who were English..

As for the Russian fans charging our fans this is what the Press Association are reporting : UEFA are to open disciplinary proceedings over the fan violence in Maresille. They say Russia are facing stronger sanctions after Russia fans attacked England supporters in the stadium after the final whistle.

thought Wales played very very well and fully deserved the win, thought England played well & were very unlucky to draw.

as for the violence in Marseille, seems today it was gangs of Russian hardcore ultras/hooligans deliberately targeting England fans before the match & after the match Russian fans (probably more hardcore ultras/hooligans) were attacking England fans in the stadium after the game finished. in previous days it was gangs of local Marseille ultras/hooligans going to where England fans were congregating.

by all accounts it seems England fans overall have been behaving well apart from the odd drunken idiot

Regarding the trouble at the end, can I ask where were the French police exactly? Some Russian supporters just walked onto the pitch.

There's been trouble in Nice tonight involving Northern Ireland fans.

Also, reports that an England fan been pushed in front of a train by a Russian fan at the Metro.

Edit: The incident at the metro actually involved a French woman who has been hospitalised, not an England fan. Hope she's ok. Awful night all round.

No , because at that point with 10-15 minutes to go the game was begging for pace to stretch Russia and hit them on the counter as well as the fact their Centre Backs are 33 & 36 and were tiring . Plus you do that & you can waste time with the ball further up the field .
