RE: Star Trek Discovery
Just watched "All Is Possible" just now on Pluto TV & whilst I agree it was a filler episode as it didn't really focus on the anomaly, I thought it was a good solid episode none the less & a standout performance from Mary Wiseman as Tilly who was well and truly out of her comfort zone

They have the classic feel of Star Trek but it needs to back to single focus single eps, you would stronger more focused stories and self contained as well as more focus on the other crew characters and as lighten a little with being so serious at times.

RE: Star Trek Discovery
I had high hopes for David Cronenberg's Kovich last season, thought the mysterious Man with Glasses would be up to something but now seems to be just a regular Federation dude.

To be honest this sums up my feeling with Discovery, I'm just a bit bored at the moment. It's lost momentum after the first episode. I thought the jump to the 32rd century would be a more exciting opportunity with new big bads etc. But still time for this season to get going.

With Ep 5 “The Examples” there’s a big tie in with Star Trek Enterprise series and a eye out for the Star Trek Voyager, Original Star Trek and Star Trek Next Gen Easter egg’s you can’t miss it.

^ It's a good one, much better than last weeks, you'll definitely enjoy it. The DMA story is getting more interesting.

Star Trek Discovery Ep 5 “The Examples” Season 4 (Non Spoiler)

Really enjoyed this Ep really did feel like classic Star Trek a cross between Next Gen, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise this is what I wanna see them more of this in this show. We get to a return of a race of people from another Star Trek show won’t spoil which one, we also get the other show about the shocking reveal of what’s going on with the DMA and it’s gonna be interesting how this unfolds. It was also get seeing the mire of the crew doing more again in particular Lt Commander Rees, I wanna see more of this. But it was the story arc with Burnham and Book and there rescue mission which was dealt with care but it was seeing Burnham not taking any shit from these race of people. Watching out for a few original Star Trek, Star Trek Next Gen, Star Trek Enterprise and Star Trek Voyager Easter Eggs that last one was very blatant lol.

I definitely did enjoy it & yes very interesting indeed regarding the DMA. Agree much better than last weeks, especially for the Disco bridge crew getting more screen time, especially Lt Commander Rhys. Met the actor that plays him, Patrick Kwok-Choon at Destination Star Trek last month and he's a really great fun guy
