This 100%, 11 episodes in and it feels like fuck all has happened all series, Kweijan gets destroyed and Zora becomes sentient, that's about it, lots of speeches, like every 2nd scene is a big speech about feelings or some shit, the show improved every year but series 4 has been fairly dull.

It's ST:TMP version of Discovery with the 10-c as V'ger ... over 13 episodes. Pretty to look at but playing on familiarity and otherwise largely vacant. (The amount of sidelined main cast leaving in one season is also 'interesting'.)

Another meh episode this week. Picard is blowing it right out of the water

Tilly character is coming back, the actress was having a baby so they wrote the character out.

Knew Tilly was coming back, didn't know she was written off due to Mary Wiseman being pregnant, congratulations to Mary & her husband who has also appeared on Discovery.

Hopefully it'll be old Tilly and not the more recent Tilly, 'cos meh.

This season would have killed the show if it was its first, they need to do better, Picard going at the same time shows just how flawed Discovery is, it isn't a bad show, and the majority of the acting is good, but the choices have been all wrong, this story has been terrible in the grand scheme of things.

Agree, hope it's the old Tilly too as Tilly is my fav character in Disco. Agree as well about this season, it's been the worst of the 4 seasons so far. Have met Mary & she's really lovely and appreciates people who have autism relating to Tilly even though its never said Tilly is on the autistic spectrum
